World population of wild tigers double in 100 years

World population of wild tigers is now up to 3,890 from 3,200 in 2010, according to the World Wildlife Fund the Global Tiger Forum ahead of a major tiger conservation meeting in Delhi to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 70% of World tigers live in India. Indian Government has sanctioned 380 crores to project tiger in this fiscal year.
