Now Vijayawada has been selected as one of the 15 pilot cities to get Green Solar Energy. While PM Modi was the Chief Minister for Gujarat, he set up Asia’s biggest solar power plant in Gujarat and bailed the State out from severe power crisis, He succeeded in giving 24×7 power supply to all the villages too. In the same lines efforts are on to set up many solar plants in the country in an endeavor to make India a power surplus country.
