PM Modi while speaking at Dubai mentioned about the way India was reaching out to neighboring countries in times of crisis. In this course he mentioned about water crisis in Maldives.Last year in December a fire broke out in their water treatment plant which led to severe drinking water crisis. PM Modi and Smt.Sushma Swaraj immediately responded and sent 1000 tonnes of drinking water through planes and ships.
