Temperatures at the post suddenly dropped to between -25 degrees C to -42 degree C causing an Avalanche. In the Avalanche the entire post got washed away and along with the post ten of our soldiers went missing. Though massive rescue operations were conducted, the soldiers could not be found and the army with deep regret announced that they are dead. Our jawans safeguard the borders in such extreme climatic conditions and make the ultimate sacrifice.
