Modi Government is proposing to create two National Investment & Manufacturing Zones (NIMZ) in Andhra Pradesh to attract investements and create job opportunity in the manufacturing sector. APIIC has announced that the land for the Rs. 10,899 crore National Investment and Manufacturing Zone had been identified in Pamarru and P.C. Palli mandals and land for the Rs. 11,693 crore NIMZ coming up in Chittoor district had been identified in Valmikipuram. Both the zones are expected to create 6.63 lakh jobs between them.
