As soon as NDA came to power, Union minister for power Sri.Piyush Goel declared AP as one of the two states for supplying uninterrupted power. It has also sanctioned production of 7500 MW power plants. 4500 MW Thermal and 3000 MW through Solar power. Besides this it has given permission for Gas based projects and supplied 3 crore LED bulbs for conservation of electricity. It was not long ago that UPA declared Industrial holiday for 3 days in a week due to power shortage which almost brought industries to shut down stage. Since BJP came to power, it has taken various steps to help AP  for its self sustenance. There is no doubt that it will stand behind AP in future in all possible ways.
